This is Master Photographer Alan McTavish!
It was such a huge honour to photograph Alan! One of the highest honours I’ve had!
Alans studio here in Winnipeg operated at Portage and Main for over 30yrs, until his retirement. I spent time with him in those days, just sitting in his studio chatting about life, and the challenges of making a living as a working photographer.
His sense of humour, patience, kindness, and rock solid understanding of photography, made this session an absolute breeze!
